Location
Guests of the 4-star Hotel Krone Schruns can enjoy easy access to Montafoner Heimatmuseum, which is situated nearly a 5-minute walk away. Boasting a location approximately 300 metres from Silvretta Montafon GmbH, the hotel features 16 rooms as well as a restaurant.
At this Schruns hotel, you'll be 3.5 km from Golmerbahn 2 and around 20 minutes' walk from Aktivpark Montafon Sports Complex. Waldrutschenpark Golm, 3.6 km away, is definitely a must-see for family tourists in Schruns. There is Alpine Coaster Recreation Center about 10 minutes' drive away, and Schruns Bahnhof bus station is in close proximity to the Krone Schruns. The property is located within a 500-metre distance of Hochjoch Bahn Talstation cable car station.
Featuring a sitting area and a separate living area, the en suite rooms also come with Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The spacious rooms are equipped with carpet floors and boast views of the mountain range.
Il Bel Paese offers a selection of dishes just around the corner from the Krone.
Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide from Nairobi, I often find myself seeking accommodations that blend comfort and practicality. My recent stay at Krone Hotel presented a mixed bag in this regard. Nestled conveniently in the town center, the hotel is aesthetically pleasing and offers spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV were appreciated during downtime. The sauna area is nicely done, providing an ideal spot to unwind after a day's excursions. While the breakfast was pleasant and the pasta and pizzas at the restaurant were commendable, I found the overall experience lacking when measured against its 4-star billing. The amenities felt sparse considering the price point. Essential services such as ironing and laundry were available but should be more seamlessly integrated into the hotel's offerings. For those prioritizing both luxury and budget, exploring alternative options may yield a more satisfying experience.
